Final USCIS appointment

We had our final appointment (we hope) for the USCIS this morning. We had to get our biometrics done again. They expired. We’ve been in the process for so long. So fingerprints, photo and signature again. Anne had the same trouble as last time – her fingerprints are worn down and don’t take well.

So now we wait. We will know one way or another within a fortnight. Hopefully. We’ve been in the process 9 years already. I read that this is average. Good grief. That means that some people take even longer than 9 years.
