The Residents are coming

I’ve been a fan of the Residents for a very long time. Like about 30 years. And they are still around and still making bizarre and interesting music, and I have long wanted to go to one of their concerts, but never thought it would ever be possible. They are coming to Washington DC this Sunday. And I want to go.

There’s just one problem. There is supposed to be a massive snowstorm this Friday and Saturday, like two feet of snow in DC and further north, and it’s unlikely that the Residents will be able to get to DC to perform, let alone me get to DC to see them perform. So I am going to have to miss this one. I’ll keep watching the Residents website and try and make it to the next concert that comes this way.
